Harare – South Africa-based Zimbabwean musician and producer Kudzai Jaravaza, popularly known as Apostle K, has made a strong comeback with a fiery new track titled Bhara Bhara Remix, released this week.
Apostle K, who balances both gospel and secular music, delivers a powerful message in the new song, blending energetic beats with patriotic themes. The track celebrates Zimbabwe’s beauty, highlighting iconic attractions such as Victoria Falls, while also offering hope and inspiration to citizens.
In addition, the song acknowledges the role of business leaders like Kuda Tagwirei, praising their contribution to economic growth and entrepreneurship.
His love for music dates back to his primary school years in Botswana, where he developed a passion for hip hop, drawing influence from global stars like 50 Cent and Eminem.
After years of honing his craft, Apostle K launched his first record label, Badnews Studios, while still in junior high school. The studio later evolved into one of Botswana’s leading licensed online radio platforms, marking a major milestone in his early career.
“Things started moving well for me as the station was getting recognition from politicians, mainstream radio DJs, local and South African artists such as Kuli Chana, Culoe De Song and Actor Andile from Rhythm City,” he said.
“Badnews Studios started to attract many local artists in Botswana, both mainstream and upcoming artists had their music recorded and mastered by Apostle K at that time,” he added.
Many of the productions gained traction on mainstream radio, earning him features on platforms such as BTV, RB2, Yarona FM, Gabz FM and eTV Botswana.
Despite his rising momentum, Apostle K stepped away from music in 2011 to focus on full-time ministry. However, the passion for music never faded.
“In 2019, the passion for music started burning heavily inside me and I decided to rejuvenate my music career, that’s when I launched my record label ‘Apostle K Recordz’ in Cape Town, South Africa where I am now currently located,” he remarked.
Through his label, he has released tracks such as Divine Favor and Millionaire, both of which have received significant airplay on Trace Africa and One Gospel.
In 2022, he further expanded his catalogue with multiple singles and music videos, including Fall for Me, Tap Out Reloaded, Coca Cola, Shubina, Mbinga, Red Colour and Impartation.
Apostle K’s sound blends Afro rhythms with rap, as he seeks to pioneer a unique style he calls RAFOGI — a fusion of Rap, Afro beats and live rhythm guitar.
With Bhara Bhara Remix, Apostle K signals a confident return, reaffirming his place in the music scene.
