Sometimes the isness of our nature is out of harmony with the oughtness that forever confronts
us. These words of Martin Luther flashed back in his mind as he stood helpless staring at a
lifeless body that he so wanted to be the most alive thing at that time in his life.
Amos always dreamt of learning in Europe and when that opportunity was presented, he
grabbed it with two hands. On 21 October 2022 he packed his bags and set off for a new career
path in Poland.
Upon arriving he felt he had now achieved his dreams but there was still one
missing thing, the love of his love.
During his orientation week at Collegium Civitas university, he accidentally came across what
could be the most important person in his life, Martha another fine looking beautiful guy from
his native country Zimbabwe.
The love at first site in the orientation week grew to become a
cohabitation that both of them condemned without the slightest intention of calling it off.
Days went by, and with the passing of each sunset a new type of affection developed.
Smiles
were painted all over their faces. They no longer wanted to spend hours in the absence of one
another and this now became Amos` true dream.
One day coming from school, Amos had planned the most romantic thing in his mind.
He switched the lights off played some nice music and held Martha by the hand. This was a great
experience for both with no one intending to let go. As they played the Zimbabwean love dance
song. Martha accidentally slipped and her head went straight to hit the slow. She screamed and
a loud silence followed. Blood was all over the floor, and this was an unfortunate tragedy. She
died.
He stood there helpless staring at a lifeless body that he so wanted to be the most alive thing at
that time in his life.
