The Mufakose community in Harare has been left in a shock following an incident which happened yesterday
A suspect, Thomas Nyamhunga, is on the run after stabbing his girlfriend’s two minor children in Mufakose on Sunday night.
A five-year-old boy died in the process.
Police had been seen removing body of five-year-old boy stabbed to death by his mother’s lover.
One women from the community said lovers should not act when they are emotional or not stable it is always important to move away from the place and come back when things normalise.
Children should not be victims of domestic love affairs between parents she added. She said she knew the man as a calm guy who attended ZCC church but started drinking beer recently, she also urged him to stop running away but show himself out and face the consequences of his actions.
Issues of domestic violence continue to affect many people in communities and mostly women and children are falling victims to these types of issues.
