Themba Gorimbo has been awarded with a Fighting Spirit world mma award at the awards in USA. The Zimbabwean fighters’ persisting and remarkable spirit for the sport has earned him this spot.
Speaking at the awards he gave gratitude to all the sponsors ,friends , family and all Zimbabweans who have believed in him . He described this award as the beginning of many to come and the inception of a champion journey.
His manager described him as a dedicated fighter who is willing to do whatever it takes to makes things happen. He applauded Themba for his love of the game and his passion in making things happen.
Themba has become an influence from the days he shared his story when he was left with only $7 in his pocket but showed out his heart. The Rock made this story go global when he decided to help the fighter after having encountered a similar situation.
The awards by Skinny were attended by various fighters ,sponsors and sport loves from across the USA and many others excelled in different categories.
