Mai Titi visited prisoners at Chikurubi maximum prison yesterday to give back to former prisoner mates. She was accompanied by TopSnash TV boss and other partners from various foundations.
Mai Titi who was released from the same prison in November last year donated to women who do not regularly receive visitors in prison . The donations included sanitary wear for these women ,food and also clothes and sanitary for their children.
One of the partners TopSnash Car Rental CEO said it was an honour to part with Mai Titi on her philanthropic work as she is a person with her people at heart. They further interacted with the inmates giving them messages of hope ,light moments and the much needed motivation that all things will be well.
Mai Titi described these visits as her way for being grateful for the life she has lived ,the circumstances she has found herself in and how she has successfully manoeuvered her ways
Her foundation is centered on assisting women mostly in this precarious situations and find life difficult to cope up with. After experiencing prison for herself she says she now connects easily with people in these situations and understand how they feel on their daily lives.
On the other hand TopSnash car rental CEO reiterated and encouraged other businesses to engage with foundations and give back to the community because it is the people they exist for.
