Parents with children studying at St. Faith High School clashed with school authorities on Thursday following a misunderstanding about the mission fund fee that was supposed to be paid.

The lower A-level students were required to pay a mission fund by the school authorities before being allowed onto the school premises. Allegedly, the school principal rejected all entries of the children whose parents did not pay.

On Thursday afternoon, the parents organized themselves with placards to demonstrate their dissatisfaction, calling for the principal to address their concerns. However, the school security prevented the parents from entering the premises.

Despite the security’s efforts, some parents forcibly entered the premises, resulting in clashes with the school’s reverend. The reverend, adamant in his stance, engaged in physical altercations with the parents before being restrained by security.

This incident has left many wondering how such issues should be approached, especially considering the financial struggles many families face. There is a call for an amicable solution to be reached.
