Shadhaya has been criticized by LEAD president Linda Masarira for his remarks on women who go to work .
In his message Shadhaya said :
Harsh reality. Most women who go to work have work husbands/boyfriends. Work husbands actually exist. Your woman will be in a relationship with you back home, but simultaneously also in one with a workmate/boss
She gets to do all the things a wife would do for a husband – packs lunch for him and obviously sleep together, either in the office, car or lodges. And that’s why your woman is hardly in the mood, because she’s getting it somewhere
Real passionate, not the boring one you have with her. Think about it, the thrill of having intimacy in the office, bending her ass on the chair, desk, cupboards unlike with you on your flat boring bed. No wonder she’s hardly in the mood
Those late hours at the office, it’s not really work but just some late night knacking. Why do you think she’s excited when they have seminars/workshops, that’s a well deserved vacation with her work husband, far away from you
That time you’ll be texting “be safe babe” oh yes she’s safe, safe in her work husband’s hands. Which is why it’s important to visit your woman’s workplace randomly. Even if you don’t see her cheating, you may be shocked to see a man who resembles your funny looking kids back home. Not to mention the funny looks her workmates give you
This is why by all means every man should strive to earn more, so that your woman can stay home, this work thing is risky. Infact if your woman works, they’re high chances, she has already cheated, she is cheating or she will cheat. How you handle that is entirely up to you
On the other hand, Linda Masarira had this to say:
Enough of your objectification of women Shadaya. I think women in Zimbabwe have been too lenient on you. If a woman messed you up, it doesn’t mean that all women are messed up.
Many women do value their marriages and have never had an affair either at work, church, or wherever. Women have been struggling to be respected globally for centuries. Now we are at a time when the world is slowly accepting equal opportunities, rights, and gender equality, then boom, we have some weird characters like you trying to reverse the gains of the women’s struggle since 1921.
It is better off if you keep your extremist alpha male opinions in your mind lest you polute sane men’s mindsets. What kind of man are you who doesn’t have anything positive to write about women. There is nothing to learn from your misogynistic content, which is very discriminatory and has the potential to destroy the marriage institution.
You are one of the reasons why the women’s movement in Zimba we is drafting a bill to protect women against sexist, misogynistic statements, insults, name-calling, bodyshaming, etc. We can’t be facing such derogatory statements as women in March, a month set aside internationally to celebrate women and their achievements.
If you want war with women, we will give you war, Shadaya! Usaite kunge wakadonha kubva kudenga. Respect the gender of the womb that carried you and gave you life!
