American Actress Tiffany Haddish is in Zimbabwe where she is doing her Series shoot . She finished in South Africa recently and has become a talk in Zimbabwe after she posted a video in a grocery shop .

Her reaction has caught the attention of many as there are mixed feelings to her video. She had this to say:

So I’m out here in Zimbabwe in Harare and look at the grocery store. They got a GROCERY STORE. It’s beautiful in the grocery store. Look at these organic strawberries. This is what I love. They sell sugarcane. This is fire. Look at this store. It’s huge. It’s absolutely humongous. In Africa baby.”

Tiffany went on to show the various merchandise in the shop aisles, also telling fans some of the prices. Nearly two weeks ago, the actress was in Victoria Falls where she marvelled at the sight of the natural wonder.

Others have adored this type of marketing given to Zimbabwe whilst others have taken time to criticize the people who often paint a negative picture of Zimbabwe when they are given international platforms.

According to IHarare, Western media often perpetuate negative stereotypes about Africa, portraying it as a monolithic, impoverished continent. Some from outside the continent may arrive with these preconceived notions and be surprised when they encounter a more diverse reality.
