Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be accepted for admission to an eligible human medical programme at the University of Edinburgh for the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Have received an offer from the university and either firmly accepted it or plan to do so.
- Hold (or expect to obtain) the equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree from an overseas institution.
- Demonstrate strong academic merit and submit a compelling personal statement.
- Be from an eligible developing country as listed in the scholarship criteria.
- Show a commitment to applying their advanced medical education to benefit their home country upon completion.
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the duration of the programme.
