The University of Adelaide offers the Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) to recognise outstanding academic achievement among incoming international students enrolling in undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programmes.

Open to high-achieving citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh

Scholarship Benefits:

Each faculty will grant two scholarships, covering 50% of tuition fees, to the top applicants who exceed an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8, depending on their program level.

Who Can Apply:

  • International students starting their coursework studies at the University of Adelaide in 2025
  • Those entering directly into undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs, including students required to complete a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP)
  • Citizens of the above-mentioned countries enrolling as international students (including those who recently completed their studies in Australia)
  • Available for all disciplines, unless specifically excluded

Academic Standards:

  • Undergraduate: Raw ATAR of 99.9 or equivalent
  • Postgraduate: GPA of 6.9 out of 7 or equivalent

Application Process:

No separate scholarship application is required. Eligible students who meet the academic criteria will automatically be considered.
Important deadlines include:

  • 28 February 2025 for Trimester 2
  • 31 May 2025 for Semester 2 and Trimester 3
