Bishop T.D. Jakes has announced he is stepping back from leadership at The Potter’s House, the megachurch he founded nearly three decades ago. The decision follows a serious medical emergency that required surgery, underscoring the urgent need for transition.
During an emotional Sunday service, Jakes publicly named his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband, Toure Roberts, as his official successors.
