The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development (MOTID) has invited domestic contractors to bid for upcoming projects across Zimbabwe. According to General Notice 659 of 2025, the Ministry is seeking registered bidders through the e-GP portal for supply and delivery of construction materials, as well as rehabilitation works on key roads.
One of the tenders, MOTID/OPEX 659B of 2025, involves the supply and delivery of bitumen, road making materials, and other related items. The closing date for submissions is set for May 21, 2025. Another tender, MOTID/CAPEX 664 of 2025, covers the rehabilitation and construction of the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road. Interested contractors must attend a compulsory site visit on April 23, 2025, in Bulawayo.
The Ministry emphasized that bids must be submitted online through the Zimbabwe Government Procurement portal (www.praz.org.zw) and will not accept hand-delivered, faxed, or emailed submissions. The closing date for the Bulawayo project is April 29, 2025.
