Schwarzman Scholars

Schwarzman Scholars is a prestigious international scholarship initiative designed to cultivate future global leaders in response to the evolving geopolitical dynamics of the 21st century.

This fully funded, one-year master’s programme is hosted at Tsinghua University in Beijing, one of China’s top academic institutions.

About the Programme

– The Schwarzman Scholars programme offers a master’s degree in global affairs, with a focus in one of the following areas:

– Public Policy

-Economics and Business

-International Studies

This immersive academic and leadership experience brings together a cohort of up to 200 outstanding scholars annually from around the world, with about 45% selected from the U.S., 20% from China, and 35% from other countries.

Who Can Apply
Applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree (or be on track to graduate by August 1, 2026) from an accredited institution in any field of study.
  • Be between 18 and 28 years old as of August 1, 2026.
  • Demonstrate English language proficiency if English is not their native language (TOEFL iBT 100, IELTS 7, or Cambridge English score of 185).

This requirement may be waived for those with sufficient academic experience in English.

Scholarship Benefits
