Africa Education Summit

President Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to officially open the third edition of the Africa Education Summit this morning in Victoria Falls.

The event, which began on Thursday, has gathered education leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders from across the continent to explore strategies for enhancing educational systems and fostering international collaborations.

A major focus of this year’s summit is Zimbabwe’s heritage-based education curriculum and the Education 5.0 model, both of which emphasise innovation and entrepreneurship to equip graduates with practical skills for the modern economy.

Industry experts in travel and tourism note that hosting the summit in Victoria Falls highlights Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage and breathtaking natural landscapes.

The choice further positions the city as a prime destination for high-profile Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE).
