A viral video from Nyanga showed three women teaming up to attack another woman, accusing her of having an affair with a man known as Baba Oliver.
The incident, filmed at a borehole, began with a confrontation between the alleged wife of Baba Oliver and the accused woman. The wife assaulted her, demanding to know why she received a late-night message from Baba Oliver.
Two other women soon joined in the attack. Despite the victim holding her baby, they continued to beat her.
Mr. Chidawa, a private investigator, later visited the scene to speak with both the attackers and the victim. Baba Oliver also revealed that he had been beaten by his wife.
The case is now being handled in the Nyanga Magistrate’s Court.
