Ramotswa Police have initiated a manhunt for suspects connected to the murder of a 38-year-old woman, which occurred on 5 June 2025 in Ramotswa.
According to a media release from the Botswana Police Service, preliminary investigations revealed that the attackers entered the victim’s home and killed her before fleeing the scene in her vehicle. Authorities have since recovered the car.
The motive behind the killing is still unknown. Police confirmed that investigations into the incident and its surrounding circumstances remain ongoing.
Law enforcement officials are seeking public assistance in locating two suspects: a Mozambican male national identified as Adriano Caetano and a Zimbabwean female national, Fanes Manyewe. Members of the public with any information are urged to contact Ramotswa Police Station or call emergency number 999.
The police assured the public that all shared information will be treated with strict confidentiality.
