A wedding ceremony in Hatcliff has left many in shock after the bride failed to show up for this occasion. Many disgruntled family and friends had to eat the well prepared food and leave with many questions.
The wife who name has been made anonymous is yet to give her side of the story on why she failed to show up at the wedding despite having spend a lot of time,money and effort preparing for this wedding
It is alleged that the bridegroom cried uncontrollably after realizing that the wife failed to show up . Speaking to Zimcelebs one of the witnesses said the two families had to resolve the crisis in a meeting after the bridegroom family was demanding their US$4000 back .
Service providers such as food caterers, videography, sound engineers and venue management were paid their dues whilst the marriage officer had not much to do other than go back home.
Another family member who had travelled from as far as Beitbridge expressed his disappointment on this issue citing that she should have aired any of her doubts weeks before the process started because many people sacrificed their time ,money and effort.
One uncle from the bride could not comment as he was embraced by his niece but cited that there is good explanation as to why she did this.
This could be a lesson to couples to always thoroughly communicate their fears , even when they do not make sense it is vital to say every little detail inorder to avoid disappointments such as this
