Cardi B confronted a journalist outside a Los Angeles courtroom on September 2 after being asked about speculation that she is pregnant with her fourth child.

The rapper, 32, was leaving the courthouse when a journalist questioned her about rumors linking her to NFL star Stefon Diggs and asked about the possible paternity of her rumored baby. Cardi, who is currently going through a divorce from her estranged husband Offset, reacted strongly to the line of questioning.

According to video footage shared on Instagram, Cardi appeared to take a pen from someone requesting an autograph before shifting her attention to the reporter. She then threw the pen in the journalist’s direction and said, “Stop disrespecting me. You’re disrespectful. Don’t do that.”

The Grammy-winning artist, known for hits such as Bodak Yellow and I Like It, accused the reporter of sexist behavior during the exchange.

Cardi B, whose legal name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, shares three children with Offset: Kulture, 7, Wave, 3, and Blossom, who is 11 months old.

Before entering her waiting SUV, Cardi added, “Act like you have some manners and your mama taught you [to] respect women.”

The confrontation took place as Cardi continues to make appearances in an ongoing lawsuit brought against her by a former security guard. The guard alleges that Cardi assaulted her outside a Beverly Hills obstetrician’s office in 2018, according to court documents obtained by NB.

The incident outside court has since circulated online, drawing attention to the tense exchange between the rapper and the press.
