Although he was initially set to host the celebration, Somizi left shortly after a brief introduction, leaving fans and event organisers confused.

In a subsequent Instagram Live session, he shared his frustrations with the event’s handling, citing several issues that led to his early departure.

Among the grievances were the lack of an airport pick-up, forcing Somizi and his manager to arrange their own transport.

He also faced unexpected accommodation problems when the hotel rooms hadn’t been prepaid, which meant Somizi had to cover the costs himself.

In addition, he pointed out the chaotic event schedule, which had his performance set for 6 AM despite the original promise that the event would wrap up by 6 PM.

Another issue he raised was the organisers’ expectation for him to promote the event on social media without payment, something Somizi argued should be standard practice in the industry.

He also claimed that his return flight was cancelled, leaving him stranded with no alternative arrangements, and voiced his dissatisfaction with the insufficient stage setup.

In response, ManB, the host and birthday celebrant, accused Somizi of misleading fans by directing them to a different venue on social media, which further intensified the ongoing dispute.
