Dr. Banabasi Marambire has officially announced that he is no longer managing the Nyathi Family brand, marking the end of a significant chapter in their collaboration.
In a heartfelt statement, Dr. Marambire reflected on his journey with the couple, whom he began managing in October 2024. He acknowledged the mixed reactions he received during his tenure—being both criticized and praised—but emphasized the growth and transformation the brand experienced under his management.
“As we began the year 2025, my attention at work grew as we embarked on new projects,” Dr. Marambire explained, adding that the role required significant dedication behind the scenes. Earlier this month, he informed the Nyathi couple that he would no longer be available for full-time management, a decision he described as “the hardest conversation to have” due to the close bond they had formed.
Despite stepping down, Dr. Marambire reassured the Nyathi Family’s supporters that his relationship with them remains strong. “I will be advising the couple whenever necessary. We have developed a strong bond that doesn’t require a managerial title kuti tinzwane,” he stated.
Notably, he clarified that his role was purely based on mutual respect and understanding, as he was never a paid manager but rather assisted out of love.
Dr. Marambire also expressed deep appreciation for the Nyathi social media community, the “yellow yellow guys” family, and the couple’s extended families, highlighting the warmth and support he received from them.
