DYNAMOS chairman Bernard Marriot-Lusengo has announced the dissolution of the club’s executive committee, effectively ending the leadership of Moses Maunganidze and his team. This decision comes after ongoing concerns over the management of the club.

In a statement released to the public, Marriot-Lusengo cited “failure to run the club appropriately” as the primary reason for the executive committee’s dismissal. The decision encompasses the entire leadership team, including vice-chairman Clemence Chimbari, treasurer Justice Mubayi, secretary-general Webster Marechera, and committee member David Chikomo, who oversaw marketing and media efforts.

“It’s with a heavy heart that I, Bernard Marriot-Lusengo, Board Chairman of Dynamos FC, announce the immediate dissolution of the club’s entire executive leadership due to failure to run the club appropriately,” Marriot stated. He expressed his disappointment but emphasized the necessity of the change.

The chairman reassured supporters and stakeholders that their voices have been heard, noting, “Our supporters and stakeholders remain our top priority. You are the true custodians of this great club, and your concerns have been heard.” This acknowledgment aims to show that the leadership transition is in response to the needs of the fanbase.

Marriot-Lusengo’s announcement comes amid a challenging period for Dynamos FC. The club has faced criticism over its performance in recent matches, prompting calls for significant changes within the management structure. The chairman expressed hope that this decision could lead to a turnaround for the team.

“This decision is intended to restore sanity, stability, and a winning mentality at Dynamos FC,” Marriot added. He reiterated the Board’s commitment to returning the club to its levels of success. His statement highlights the focus on revitalizing the team culture and fostering a supportive environment for players and fans alike.

Fans of Dynamos FC, known for their passionate support, will be closely watching the developments in the leadership transition. Their expectations for improved performance are high, and the coming weeks will be critical in determining the club’s future prospects.

As the club moves forward, Marriot-Lusengo thanked supporters for their continued backing during this transitional phase. He urged them to remain engaged as the Board works towards establishing a new management structure that aligns with the club’s ambitions.
