Zimbabwean songstress Feli Nandi successfully launched her second studio album, Ndisiyei, on Saturday night at the 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale. The event was attended by a large crowd, including prominent figures from the entertainment and business industries, who showed immense support for the artist.
The album, which consists of nine tracks, is a deeply personal reflection of Feli Nandi’s journey in the music industry. Among the songs is Vakaita Sewe, a heartfelt tribute to Tinaye Chibaya, an 11-year-old boy who tragically passed away last year due to injuries sustained in a horse-riding accident.
The launch was a glamorous affair, with comedian Comic Pastor serving as the master of ceremonies. Popular socialite Madam Boss and her husband were also present and purchased copies of the album. In a remarkable show of support, businessman Banabasi Marambire bought the album for an impressive US$4,000 in cash.
