Lorraine Guyo rose to fame as a Zimbabwean internet sensation after her video went viral in 2019, where she humorously requested men to propose to her before Valentine’s Day, earning her the nickname “Ndinyengeiwo girl.” Despite facing repercussions at her job at Miekles Hotel in Harare, she was reinstated after an online campaign in her support.

Eventually, Guyo decided to resign from her position in mid-February 2019.
