South African traditional healer Gogo Maweni — real name Makgotso Lee-Anne Mokopo — is one of the country’s most popular traditional healers. She is also very controversial.
When she isn’t discussing turning people into tokoloshes, she is playing with snakes and taking midnight strolls in graveyards. Last year, she shared a clip of herself with a snake curled around her neck.
This year, she has seemingly started selling snakes to customers who believe that snakes bring either wealth or luck to their owners.
An Instagram page with photos of the various snakes for sale has gotten everyone buzzing on social media.
An Instagram page which is called Gogo Maweni exotic snakes has been created and already has over 50 snakes listed.
The page also advertises “snake rituals on request”.
