UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo took fourteen people from his village in Bikita to an optician at Optinova in Borrowdale to get examined by doctors. Themba is well known for his philanthropic and contribution towards his people with the construction of boreholes in the village.
This time he partnered with the foundation inorder to help these people as they barely afford the eye screening services and most of them develope eye problems . Speaking to Zimcelebs the fighter who is currently in Zimbabwe explained how delighted he was to be involved in community works and that he always feels like its his duty and calling.
`I am greatly pleased and honored to be home and will continue to do well for my people in my village as i have always dreamt of these things from a childhood age. Gorimbo who recently won a UFC match in the US and dedicated the victory to his people has continued to show why he will fight.
He has been trending on social media recently because of his comments towards the SRC and the minister of Sports airing out his dissatifaction on how they handled hs process of applying to have the flag of Zimbabwe on his fighting kits
