For the 2025/26 academic year, the UCL Institute of Education (IOE) is providing Centenary Master’s Scholarships.

These scholarships are designed for students who aim to contribute to improving the lives of disadvantaged, marginalised, or underperforming individuals, either in their home countries or elsewhere.

Eligible Programs:
The scholarships apply to full-time, taught master’s degree programs available at IOE, with the exception of the MA in Educational Neuroscience and all online courses. (For doctoral studies, applicants should refer to the IOE Centenary Doctoral Scholarships.)

Target Audience:
Applicants must be from countries classified as low- or lower-middle-income by the World Bank.

Scholarship Coverage:
The scholarship includes full tuition fees and accommodation at the International Students House for one academic year. However, it does not cover living expenses in London, travel costs, or other incidental expenses.

The award is valid for one academic year, contingent on satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify, applicants must:

  • Reside in an eligible low- or lower-middle-income country as per the World Bank’s classification.
  • Hold an unconditional offer to study a full-time Master’s program at IOE (as confirmed by an official letter from UCL Admissions).
  • • I have not previously studied or lived in the UK.

Application Process:
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must first secure an unconditional offer to pursue a full-time master’s degree at IOE. After receiving the offer, they can submit their application through an online form. The deadline for applications is 5 May 2025.
