Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat has stopped training with SuperSport United, iDiski Times has learnt.

Matsatsantsa returned to training last week Thursday after a well-deserved break. On their return they welcomed three-time DStv Premiership winner Billiat in their first training session in 2024.

The 33-year-old was just training with the club, there were no talks at that stage, as confirmed by club captain Onismor Bhasera.

But a close source has now informed iDiski Times that Billiat is no longer training with SuperSport.

United trained Friday, Saturday and had a rest day on Sunday, then returned to training this morning and Billiat was not present in all those training sessions.

A picture of Billiat wearing SuperSport training kit has been circulating on social media platforms and it is understood that leaking it has left the club unhappy.

The CAF Champions League winner remains a free agent since leaving Chiefs before the start of the current season.

He was also linked with Cape Town City earlier in the campaign but that move didn’t materialise at the time.
