Zimbabwe is proudly among the 79 nations participating in the 10th anniversary of Miss Global, currently unfolding in Cambodia.
The quest for the prestigious Miss Global crown is in full swing, with organizers unveiling the top 25 countries leading the fan vote, from which 13 nations will secure an automatic spot in the semi-finals.
While Kudzai Matizha, the representative from Zimbabwe, is not currently on the list of leading contestants based on votes, there is a crucial role for Zimbabweans to play in propelling Matizha into the semi-finals scheduled for January 13.
Miss Global has introduced an online voting platform, allowing people to cast their votes for their favorite queens. Matizha, a 21-year-old ambassador for Zimbabwe, has been making a commendable representation of the country across various platforms, competing with over 70 other beauty queens from around the globe.
The Miss Global preliminary competition is slated for January 13, where the reigning queen, Shane Tormes of the Philippines, will gracefully pass on the crown.
