In the ongoing economic analysis towards the ZiG currency, The ZANU PF spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa implies that the new currency will be way better than the USD currency because of several reasons.
“These statements were made directed to economic analysts like Gift Mugano. “Ngavamboenda vambonoverenga history ye nyika ino kuti takabva kupi, why did we run an economy before America which was not based on the US Dollar…” said Cde Mutsvangwa during a press statement.
He goes on encouraging Zimbabweans to trust the president because he believes that if the ZiG is defended by it’s people it’ll have it’s value. This goes hand in glove with what Prophet E. Makandiwa preached on his church service on the 7th of April when he claims that if one puts a negative attitude towards something then it’s definitely going to happen negatively. He said this in relation to the new ZiG currency.
Spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa went on implying that the United States Dollar of America is a later day currency unlike the local currency made from gold which has always been the currency of Zimbabwe.
In his statement he clearly means that gold has always been used before the introduction of paper money as it was used for trading back in the day.
