Pastor Tom Deuschle of Celebration Church has called on all Zimbabweans to pray for peace in the country. Speaking during a Sunday service at his church in Borrowdale, he urged people from all backgrounds and political views to come together in prayer so that there will be no bloodshed.
Pastor Deuschle also called on the country’s leaders to be responsible and serve the people honestly. He spoke about the problems Zimbabwe is facing, including drug cartels, corruption, and tribal divisions. He said these issues are making life difficult for many people.
He encouraged the church to take prayer seriously and to speak the word of God instead of their own opinions. Reading from Psalm 37, he reminded the congregation that evil will not last forever and that it will always fail.
Although Zimbabwe is facing many challenges, Pastor Deuschle told believers not to lose hope. He warned that uprisings will only bring more harm to the people and urged everyone to remain strong in faith.
