A group of four men executed a brazen robbery yesterday, targeting police officers stationed at a roadblock near Muchakata. The heist involved the thieves forcibly taking uniforms and personal belongings from the law enforcement officers.
The robbery occurred at approximately 3:30 pm. The perpetrators, armed with three pistols, approached the roadblock with a swift and calculated plan. Their chosen getaway vehicle was identified as a new-shape Honda Fit.
Among the items seized by the robbers were a grey Police shirt, riot trousers, a pair of Presidential shoes, and a Police cap. In addition to the uniforms, the officers fell victim to the theft of their personal belongings, including two cellphones.
