Six lives were tragically lost, and seven individuals sustained injuries in a collision involving a haulage truck and a Mazda BT50 vehicle along Mutare-Masvingo road.

Manicaland Acting Director of Local Government Services, Mr. John Misi, confirmed the grim details of the accident. According to Mr. Misi, four individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while another lost their life en route to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital. The sixth victim tragically passed away upon admission to the hospital.
The severity of the collision also left seven individuals injured, and they were swiftly transported to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital for medical attention. The injured victims are currently receiving treatment, their conditions being closely monitored by medical professionals.
