The UAL/ISH International Postgraduate Scholarship offers fully funded opportunities for students from developing nations who wish to pursue a master’s degree at one of the six colleges within the University of the Arts London (UAL) in the 2025 academic year.

The scholarship supports students enrolling in full-time or part-time taught master’s courses, including Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes, or MSc qualifications, at any of UAL’s six colleges.

Up to five scholarships will be awarded.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Course Admission
- Applicants must have an offer to study a master’s programme at one of UAL’s colleges for the 2025/26 academic year.
- The programme must lead to a qualification such as a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MRes, or MSc.
- Those who have already earned a postgraduate qualification from the UK or an equivalent degree abroad are ineligible.
2. Country of Residence
- Applicants must be from one of the designated countries, which include Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand, Turkey, or South Africa.
- Students from other countries may qualify for alternative funding options, such as UAL’s £7,000 or £14,000 International Postgraduate Scholarships.
3. Financial Requirement
- Household income should be £55,000 or less (or the equivalent in local currency) at the time of application.
4. Personal Statement Requirement
As part of the application process, candidates must submit responses (maximum 350 words per question) to the following prompts:
- Explain how the scholarship would impact your studies.
- Describe your future plans and how the qualification will help you achieve them.
- Outline how you aim to address challenges in your home country.
- Demonstrate how you will uphold the values of social justice and environmental responsibility.
How to Apply:
- Once an applicant has received an offer for an eligible programme, the ‘My Funding’ page on their UAL Applicant Portal will provide access to relevant scholarship applications.
- The deadline for submission is 20 June 2025 for students commencing in August 2025.
