Trey Nyoni has finally earned his Liverpool senior debut after coming on as a substitute in a 3-0 FA Cup triumph over Southampton at Anfield on Wednesday night.

The 16-year-old had been an unused replacement in the previous two games, in the Premier League against Luton Town and against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final, respectively.

Trey Nyoni made his debut in the 77th minute, playing in the ‘Mohamed Salah position’. He replaced Harvey Elliott.

Nyoni was born on June 30, 2007 in England to Zimbabwean parents, which means he is eligible to play for England, his country of birth, or Zimbabwe through his family.
