A South African TikToker known for his Maskandi music reviews was shot and killed while live streaming on the app, shocking followers who witnessed the tragedy unfold in real time.

Sqiniseko Mvelase, 27, was at his home in Dunottar, Nigel, on Thursday when an unidentified assailant entered and opened fire. The attack, captured on TikTok, sent shockwaves across social media platforms.

Authorities say the gunman discharged over 15 rounds, fatally wounding Mvelase on the scene. He was reportedly alone at the time of the shooting.
