A man who was part of a violent group known as “zvigure” has been arrested by PoliceZimbabwe.
The group had been causing fear in the community by assaulting people without any reason.
Residents say the zvigure would attack randomly, leaving many injured and scared.
Police officers acted on reports from the public and managed to detain the suspect in connection with the assaults.
Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and more arrests may follow.
