A Warren Park 1 landlord’s granddaughter is accused of repeatedly forcing herself on a ten-year-old youngster.
Tilda Mazhande, the regional magistrate for Harare, remanded Fadzai Chimboza in detention until January 29 without asking her to enter a plea. It was suggested that she approach the High Court for bail considerations because she is facing a third schedule offence.
The landlord of the home where the youngster and his parents reside is Chimboza’s granddaughter. According to what the court heard, Chimboza dragged the youngster into her room after he returned from school in April of last year. According to reports, she urged the youngster to sleep on the bed after taking off his clothes.
