Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has dismissed claims of an upcoming musical show at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on 26 April 2025, labeling the circulating advertisements as false and misleading. In a statement, ZC categorically denied granting permission for any such event at the venue, which is set to host an international Test series in the coming months.
As the official custodians of Queens Sports Club, ZC emphasized its commitment to cricket and made it clear that no non-cricketing events will be allowed at the stadium. The cricket body has also issued a stern warning to the event organizers, urging them to stop misleading the public with unauthorized promotions.
In response to the false advertising, ZC has initiated legal action against those responsible for the misrepresentation. The organization assured stakeholders and fans that it remains focused on delivering a thrilling Test series against South Africa and New Zealand between June and August 2025 at the historic venue.
Cricket supporters are encouraged to disregard the fake adverts and follow official ZC communication channels for verified information. ZC expressed gratitude for the continued backing from fans as preparations for the highly anticipated international matches continue.
