Fagio Marowa of the Zimbabwe young influencers and his team donated shoes and other stationery to students at Nyamhondoro Primary school in Guruve. Bernard Betera music partnered with this team as they brought faces of joy to parents and students in the community.
Many students go to school barefooted as parents struggle to make ends meet. The community is surrounded by farms which has been their source of income for a long time but affording to buy complete school uniform has become a luxury over the past years.
Mr Marowa took an opportunity at the price giving day of the school to distribute these items to help the kids in their studies. He reiterated that it is very important for school children to be in a conducive environment where they can participate without worrying.
George Zhakata an instrumental community leader in Nyamhondoro also expressed how delighted he was to see development in the area especially interns of education
Nyamhondoro primary school is one of the ancient schools during the colonial era which has been there for a long time. The school has developed over time through the assistance of individuals who are dedicated to make the community a better place.
Councillor Samuel Machumi extended his gratitude to the team and applauded them for bringing light to these children and making sure that the education in the community takes a good twist.
